The Good Food Club is raising money to make sure no Good Food Club member goes hungry this year. Join us in supporting the Good Food Club's Good Food Box donation drive! Sponsor a Good Food Box to feed a household for only $20.
Join us in the Broadway Neighbourhood Centre gym to learn about growing plants from seed and to plant seedlings for our community gardens. From 2:00-3:00 p.m., participants will learn from Master Gardener, Igor Kaftan, how to successfully grow plants from seed for transplanting to outdoor gardens. Afterwards, the group will work together to plant seedlings that will be grown at WBCO's office for donation and for use in the community gardens. Take-home gardening trays will be also available to participants who wish to grow seedling at home on a windowsill or under a grow light. This workshop is open to community members of all ages.
