    West Broadway Community Organization (WBCO) recognizes that it is every person’s right to participate in work, recreation and cultural activities without fear of exposure to crime, harassment or harm to themselves, their families, their neighbours or their property. WBCO delivers a range of activities focused on preventing crime, reducing harm, and improving justice and accessibility for all.

  • Housing Initiatives

    Quality, affordable, safe housing is the cornerstone of all healthy communities. West Broadway Community Organization, has been a leader in Winnipeg for over 20 years, working with stakeholders to improve tenancies, preserve affordability, refine policies and systems, guide local development, and improve the physical and social condition of our neighbourhood’s housing stock.

  • Good Food Club

    The Good Food Club empowers people to eat healthier, gain new skills, and build community, while helping members access healthy, affordable food.

  • Greenspaces and the Environment

    West Broadway Community Organization (WBCO) is committed to environmental sustainability and preserving public green spaces in our community. WBCO owns or manages seven community-access greenspaces in West Broadway, offering seasonal programming, with over 80 community garden plots, 26 compost bins, weekly workshops, community garden committees, and plenty of space to sit, meet, play or exercise.

    As a Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation and resident’s association, West Broadway Community Organization (WBCO) engages in a wide range of community organizing and capacity building activities.
