Manitoba Hydro has discontinued all service disconnections related to overdue accounts until further notice. This means that Manitoba Hydro will not cut off your power if you cannot pay your bill.

The Tenancy Improvement Program drop-in is currently unavailable due to COVID-19. You can reach the Tenant Support Worker by calling (431) 334-9930 or by emailing

Please reach out if your power is disconnected or your rental unit is too cold. Landlords must always make sure that the temperature in the rental unit meets the minimum requirements (at all times, not just during COVID-19!). From 7:00AM until 11:00PM, the temperature must be at least 21ºC. From 11:00PM until 7:00AM, the temperature can’t be lower than 18.3ºC.
