Property Improvement Program (PIP)

This grant is available to Homeowners and Housing Providers in West Broadway for a variety of exterior improvements. Thank you to the Winnipeg Housing and Homelessness Initiative (WHHI), for funding this initiative.

Homeowners and rental property owners are encouraged to apply to the Property Improvement Program (PIP). Homeowners and rental property owners that have received a grant in the past may be eligible for a grant and are encouraged to apply as well.

Eligible improvements include replacing old eaves troughs, exterior paint, installing new Energy Star windows, roofs, and lighting, among others.

West Broadway homeowners and housing providers received a brochure in mail in April explains PIP’s guidelines and how to register on the PIP information Service Phone line at 942-5664. After leaving a message at this number, we will contact you with an application form.

Just a reminder, to be eligible for the program a minimum of two contractors quote or two building material estimates are required with the application.
