Leaf It with West Broadway

As you’re raking up your leaves in the fall and tidying up in spring, please gather and save your leaves for West Broadway’s community compost bins!

Your garbage-free bags of leaves can be dropped into labeled leaf bins at:

Spirit Park, 200 Young Street
Boulder Park, 152 Langside Street
Sherbrook Street Community Garden, 198 Sherbrook Street
Broadway Neighbourhood Centre, 185 Young Street

 

WHY?

• Community gardeners use leaves for mulch and compost: “garden gold!”
• Put your leaves to use and keep them out of the landfill.
• Prevent greenhouse gas emissions produced when leaves are transported away.
