Community Plan: West Broadway

Community-based planning works with residents and stakeholders to create a vision and priorities to help improve quality of life. This Plan was created with input from over 500 people from all walks of life.

It is a living document intended to guide the work of residents, organizations, businesses, government and funders to improve quality of life in the neighbourhood. WBDC is the “steward” of the Plan and will use it to guide our work over the next five years.

Guiding questions used to create the Plan:

  1. In order to make West Broadway a safe, healthy and vibrant place to live, what are the most important changes that need to take place in the next five years?
  2. What specific change initiatives would you (or your organization) be most likely to participate in?
  3. What actions could WBDC undertake to contribute to positive changes?
  4. Who could partner with WBDC to bring about change and what would each partner contribute?
